An afternoon of cake-making!

After choosing their afternoon activities, on Tuesday afternoon, some children headed off to make cakes in the common room. There was icing, toffees, sprinkles, and all sorts and a competition for the most beautifully decorated cakes.





First they had to ice them...







Whose cake is the best?










Mrs Riley even got given a cake, as well as a tray for the rest of the staff!








Then to burn off the energy from the icing and sprinkles (we all know the tactic: make one cake, eat one cake) the children had some time outside playing games with the English Student Hosts.
