A typical afternoon at Marymount

It's a warm and cloudy afternoon at Marymount, the rain has held off, lessons have finished, and the children are busy doing their activities for the day.

These talented young artists are painting a huge mural in their Outdoor Art class. It shows the different types of castles there are in England.

Over on the football pitch, the match is getting exciting. It's 2-2 with less than a minute to go. Who's going to win? The greens or the blues?









Basketball is another popular sport at Marymount, and activity leader Ben is explaining the rules to all the students.

These students and student hosts are in a dance class with Olivia and Rachel. They are working in groups to devise a routine to go with the song The Circle of Life, from the Lion King.

With sports, arts and dance on offer this afternoon, there is something for everyone to try. But it's just another afternoon at Discovery Summer Marymount.
