As it's the Games and Sports week, today we're doing Language Olympics. The children, in their English speaking country groups, have prepared their Olympic t-shirts, created a 'national chant' and then came all together to compete in a number of language-based activities.
Canada, the USA, and South Africa are all ready for the language battle!
Round 1 .... here we come!
Mitch, our Olympic Master, is running the competition with a firm hand. Points are awarded for solving language tasks, but also for speaking English at all times, helping others, and general good behaviour. Who will win? Canada, Australia, UK, India, USA, or South Africa?
