A Tremendous Tuesday!

Tuesday truly was a jam-packed day!

English classes and workshops happened as usual. Once they were finished, students ate lunch in their class groups and their teacher. This happens twice a week and is really great as it encourages English speaking at break time!

Today's multi-activities included some relaxing yoga, badminton, Quidditch, designing and making board games and horse riding.

After the multi-activities had finished the second day of Clubs started. In British Tea Party the students made mixture for British scones in small teams. For British Sports, the Activity Leaders taught Tag Rugby and in the Junkyard Music class, the students created their instruments using their designs from the previous day as inspiration. The outcome was excellent and imaginative.

In the evening Marymount hosted a Circus Skills night where a professional performer came in and demonstrated to the students different activities. There was time to learn how to walk on a tight rope, achieve tricks on the diablo, spin plates on a stick and how to juggle. The students had a lot of fun and learnt some new skills.
