Activities, Clubs and Whacky Races!

Tuesday was a busy day with many activities on offer after English classes. Friendship bracelets in the art room, Tchoukball on the football field where the students practiced passing and then went into a game, Yoga, where they learnt to relax their body and clear their minds, iOrienteering, where the students use their phones to scan hidden barcodes that give them information on a map to find the next point, Basketball, where they practiced all the skills then had competitive games, Horse riding and Tennis.

For the Clubs we continued with Animation, where the students built their characters out of play dough, Castle Creator club, Racket sports and Drama where they learnt a song and then started to create small improvisations based upon the wives of King Henry the Eighth.

After a healthy dinner the students got into their colour groups and competed in some "Whacky Races." This is where they had a number of relay races to complete however they were quite unusual. Instead of the normal running we had different challenges for them. Some were blindfolded, another had to balance a table tennis ball on a tray whilst racing, some could only move the ball with their heads plus any more!

Congratulations to the Purple Group for winning the event!
