Animation Mad!

Marymount School has had a couple of days learning all about animation! Every residential student has taken part.

Yesterday evening for the evening activity we had an Animation Pixilation evening! Pixilation is where the students act as the characters in the animation. An animation is made by many photos taken and added together to make a film.

As it is Kings and Queens week at Discovery Summer Marymount, the story was about the students saving the King and Queen from an evil wizard by defeating the dragons!

See below!

This week there was also an Animation Club that some students joined. We learnt to storyboard, build models and then finally animate them. The students were so creative and imaginative as you will see by their incredible animations made! The students names are at the end of their film in the credits.
