Yesterday we went on a trip to Arundel Castle, situated in magnificent grounds overlooking the River Arun in West Sussex. The caste was built at the end of 11th century by Roger de Montgomery, Earl of Arundel, and for the last 200 years has been opened to the public.
We watched how armour used to me made in the Middle Ages and admired the amazing views from the castle's balcony.....
...then there was lunch in the sunshine followed by a knights' tournament. It was a splendid day!
