Another week has come to an end at Discovery Summer Marymount! It has been a week packed with educational learning and new activities.
Highlights of Week Two have included: Table Tennis, Horse Riding, Picasso Sculpture Making, the Marymount Talent Show, an evening Summer Fete, a Monster Murder Mystery, Monster Clay Making, Lacrosse, Football, Drama, Baking, Kings and Queens night, Tennis, a trip to London and the Natural History Museum and of course, making friends. These are just some of the activities that we got up to in Week Two at Marymount. We also saw some excellent presentations by the students on Friday.
We were sad to see many of our students go home on Saturday and we thank you for your excitement, enthusiasm and willingness to learn! However we are very excited to have welcomed many more new students from all over the world and to welcome our new day students tomorrow.
Finally a HUGE thank you from all of the staff and all of the students at Marymount to our Social Director, the "Boss of Fun" Jonny, who leaves us at the centre. He has been a huge part of Marymount, setting up the first two phenomenal weeks here of activities and fun! You will be missed!
